Diz - Guitar
My first
inspiration came from my
late brother Jim, who played
the Rooster tail often with
a band called Steel and
Velvet. Then they scored a
gig on the Robin Seymour
show playing Shocking Blue's
Venus. Later I heard a band
called The Amboy Dukes and
was hooked on the
resonations of the hollow
body guitar. Bands like
Grand Funk, and of course,
Hendrix, were also big
influences for me. Then I
met Mark O and nothing was
ever the same. Through the
bands Myth, Sidekick, David
and Electric Haze, Mark and
I banged heads over volume,
solos, and writing songs
together. With the
versatility of Rick on bass,
keys and vocals; the
relentless pounding of John
on drums and Dan's soaring
vocals, Electric Haze rocks!
